From the beginning, the Cafer family has worked closely to serve you an exceptional late-night experience with a fresh tropical twist, and now with two generations sharing the passion, there hasn’t been a better time to join in the fun. For over 13 years, I've proudly served as Barbossa's Venue Manager. The most rewarding part of this journey has been witnessing our brand flourish, our team members thrive, and our customers leaving with memorable experiences. When I dine in, it's all about the Jerk Chicken and hand-cut calamari. Paired that with a neat rum or a barrel-aged option and you have a meal that will make your night!

Hey there, I'm thrilled to share my journey at Barbossa with you. It's been a fantastic 13-year ride, and I'm proud to serve as the Director, offering essential business support and shaping our strategic path. Seeing Barbossa evolve and come into its own has been a real highlight for me. Witnessing its growth, from its early days to its now, more refined self, has been a truly gratifying experience. When I step in for a bite, you can bet I'm reaching for an Old Fashioned, a classic that never disappoints. Cheers to more memories at Barbossa!

I've taken on various roles in my 12 years at Barbossa, from PA to functions and marketing manager, and even bartender! The best aspect of working here is undoubtedly the close-knit family atmosphere: the support, the banter, and the love make each day enjoyable. My favourite dishes are the sweet potato salad with prawns or crispy-skinned barramundi, perfectly complemented by adventurous gin choices or a hint of spiced rum.

The Cafer children have all had a taste of the hospitality industry growing up with their parents owning a Bar! We have all got high hopes for these kiddos to succeed in whatever avenues they choose to explore! We are totally rooting for an ownership handover in the future!
